BMC Mayor sex scandal: Court directs not to broadcast objectionable video


Bhubaneswar: A local court here on Saturday directed the media not to telecast the alleged objectionable video purportedly showing BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena with a woman in an intimate scene.

The senior civil judge court, Bhubaneswar directed the media to stop broadcasting the video till next hearing. It also directed NSUI state president Itish Pradhan and niakhunta.com proprietor Pradip Pandey to stop circulating the objectionable video.

The next hearing of the case is scheduled to be held on December 28.

Notably, Jena had appealed the court to stop broadcasting the alleged sex scandal case in the media.

However, Jena’s advocate denied the allegation that it was his client who was seen in the alleged objectionable videos.
