Special trains for Rath Yatra 2022: Know details

Ministry of Railways has planned to run 205 Special Trains to and from Puri during Rath Yatra (Car Festival) period for smooth travel and convenience of the pilgrims.

Railways expects lakhs of pilgrims will be congregated at Puri this year.

East Coast Railway has taken necessary steps to facilitate pilgrims with reserved Class Accommodation, for the trains leaving from its jurisdiction towards Puri and vice-versa

Preparations are in full swing ahead of the auspicious Rath Yatra celebrations in Puri

180 platoons of police personnel and over 1000 officers would be deployed in and around Puri for Rath Yatra scheduled on July 1
