Reunion of ‘BJB Friends’ on Dec 17

Bhubaneswar: The reunion of ‘BJB Friends’, a students’ association of BJB Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar, will be held on December 17.

In this regard, a press conference was held on behalf of BJB Friends on Sunday.

Before the celebration, a torch procession of members of BJB Friends will come from Baruni Hills and reach the BJB College where floral tribute will be paid to Baxi Jagabandhu.

On this occasion, Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi, a former student of BJB College and acting Chief Justice of Orissa High Court and Ashok Parija, Advocate General of Odisha will be felicitated by BJB Friends.

Apart from this, the meritorious students of BJB College will be felicitated and the meritorious contestants of the quiz competition organized on December 2 will also be felicitated.

While BJB Friends is carrying out various social and philanthropic activities, this year too, great programs like blood donation have been planned. Various cultural programs have also been organized.

President of ‘BJB Friends’ Debasis Patnaik, Secretary Satyabrat Dhupal, Vice President Shyam Sundar Patnaik, members Ashok Mohanty, Krishna Chandra Patra, Dr. Namita Patnaik, Subhadarsini Mishra and Ram Shankar Nanda were present during the press conference.
