CBSE 10th Exam Results 2016 : Odisha Tops In Bhubaneswar Region


BHUBANESWAR: Odisha has topped in Bhubaneswar region of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 10th exam, results of which were declared on Saturday.

Bhubaneswar region is comprised of West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.

While the pass percentage of Odisha is 98.56 percent, it is 95.58 per cent in West Bengal and 94.81 per cent in Chhattisgarh.

Bhubaneswar region has registered 96.27 per cent success in CBSE class 10 results.

The overall pass percentage is 96.21% across the country, down from last year’s rate of 97.32%.

A total of 75,000 students from Bhubaneswar region appeared the CBSE 10th exam 2016.

Students can get their results from the board’s three websites – www.cbse.nic.in, www.results.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in.

As many as 14,99,212 students, including 8,92,685 boys and 6,06,437 girls from 15,309 school across the country, have appeared in CBSE 10th exam 2016.
