BJP workers vandalise Pandian’s house, hurl cow dung

Bhubaneswar: BJP workers vandalized the official residence of V K Pandian, the private secretary of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, here on Saturday.

The BJP workers barged into the house of V K Pandian and vandalized the house premises. They also hurled cow dung. Flower pots and vehicles parked at the official residence of VK Pandian were damaged.

Sameer Mohanty justified it saying it is the reflection of anguish against Pandian’s action.

He also termed Pandian as super Chief Minister of Odisha.

“Being an IAS officer, Pandian is working for a political party. We would continue to protest until he mends his ways,” said Mohanty.

On the other hand, BJD spokesperson Pratap Deb condemned the incident.

“This is unfortunate. Vandalising Pandian’s house shows the mindset of BJP. All involved should be arrested,” said Deb.

Police Commissioner YB Khurania said action will be taken against the persons involved in the attack on Chief Minister’s private secretary house.

“We will take strong action against the persons involved in the case. While some have been arrested, others involved in the attack will be arrested,” said Khurania.
