Youth critical in croc attack in Kendrapara

Bhubaneswar: A youth was critically injured after being attacked by a crocodile in Kandidra village under Rajnagar police limits in Kendrapada district early Wednesday morning.

The injured youth, identified as Binod Mallick, was first taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, he was shifted to Bhubaneswar as his condition was critical, reports said.

The crocodile attacked Binod while he had gone to a creek for cleansing work. Some locals rescued him and rushed him to the hospital.
