Three tribal minor girls kidnapped from state-run girls’ hostel in Koraput


Koraput: Three girls staying in a state-run girls’ hostel were allegedly kidnapped at Parajabedapadar in Koraput district when they had gone out to attend nature’s call on Sunday night.

While one girl is studying IX, two others are studying in Class-VI, said sources.

The hostel authorities lodged a complaint at the Dasamantpur police station in this connection.

Sources said the trio studying and staying at the State-run Parajabedapadar Sevashram had gone to attend nature’s call on Sunday night and did not return.

Sources said the trio minors were kidnapped.

Finding no alternatives, the hostel authorities lodged a police complaint at the Dasamantpur police station.

The incident has exposed the security arrangement and availability of minimum civic amenities in the Government Sevashram schools.
