Odisha govt approves Rs 12,768 crore supplementary budget!


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday approved a supplementary budget of Rs 12,768 crore, which will be presented in the monsoon session of state Assembly.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the supplementary budget.

Sources said the supplementary budget would be around Rs 12,768 crore.

The supplementary budget will be placed in the Assembly on the opening day on September 4.

Notably, the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will start from September 4. The session will continue till September 20. It will have 11 working days.
