BJP declares 40 star campaigners for polls in Odisha


Bhubaneswar: Ahead of general and Lok Sabha elections in Odisha, the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released its star campaigners list of 40 leaders.

The star campaigner list include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party’s national president Amit Shah and Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Prakash Javadekar, Smriti Irani , Dharmendra Pradhan and Juel Oram.

Similarly, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Jharkhand CM Raghubir Das, former Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh and former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh will campaign for BJP in upcoming polls in Odisha.

Besides, Baijayanta Panda, Suresh Pujari, Damodar Rout, Sambit Patra, Surama Padhi, Pratap Saranghi, Ranjan Patel, Manas Mohanty, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, Giolak Mohapatra, KV Singhdeo, Sameer Mohanty and Giridhari  Gamanga will campaig for the BJP in the state.

Moreover, the actor-turned-politicians– Hema Malini, Anu Chowdhury, Sritam Das, Mihir Das, Pinky Pradhan, Aparajita Mohanty and Ashrumochan Mohanty have been included among the star campaigners, who will add the glamour quotient in the hectic campaigning.
