STPI DG meets Odisha CM


Bhubaneswar: Dr Omkar Rai, Director General, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) on Friday met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here.

Rai apprised the Chief Minister about various initiatives being undertaken by the STPI in collaboration with Odisha government.

The CM appreciated the initiatives like Entrepreneur Park, Fablab, Data Centre, VARCoE and Smart Lab. 

He has also assured STPI all the support needed for future endeavours.

STPI is a society established in 1991 by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology with the objective of encouraging, promoting and boosting the export of software from India.

STPI has a presence in many major cities of India including the cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Kanpur, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Warangal, Kakinada, Lucknow, Pune, Surat, Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam.
