Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal on Friday appealed to spread the fragrance of Indianness all over the globe.

“India is a living Goddess; She can assume any form she likes and here She has taken the form of Lord Jagannath. Every Indian is spiritual by nature and carries the essence of spirituality with him where ever he goes,” expressed the Governor.

Speaking in global meet of NIT Rourkela Alumni Association held at Bhubaneswar, Governor Prof. Lal lauded alumni NIT Rourkela for making their mark all over the globe and having brought glory to the country as well as to the institute.

Indians are adept at adapting the new environment. The Indian philosophy proclaims unity in diversity, he said and urged alumni to spread the fragrance of Indianness all over the globe.

“Man has come from bliss, will live in bliss and will go to bliss. University, Universe and Universal man are interwoven as zero, God and Infinity. Universalism is the beauty of Indian philosophy and that is more relevant in present-day world,” the Governor said.

Sanjay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman Organizing Committing, Prabodh Padhee, President, Alumni Association, Padmashree Nalini Ranjan Mohanty, Advisor, and Madhusudan Padhi, Member, Organising Committee spoke in the inaugural session.
