JEE Main result 2020: Saurabh is Odisha topper


Bhubaneswar: Saurabh Soumyakant Das is the Odisha topper in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main, the results of which were announced on Friday night.

According to JEE Main result 2020 announced by National Testing Agency, Saurabh scored 99.99 percentile score in the exam.

Nine candidates have topped the exam with 100 percentile score in the examination.

A total of 8.69 lakh students, including 6.04 lakh male and 2.64 lakh female and three transgenders, had appeared for the exam across 233 cities in the country and abroad from January 7-9.

The nine candidates, who got 100 percentile score in the JEE Main result 2020, are Delhi boy Nishant Agarwal, Nisarg Chadha from Gujarat, Haryana’s Divyanshu Agarwal, Landa Jitendra and Thadavarthi Vishnu Sri Sai Sankar from Andhra Pradesh, Akhil Jain and Parth Dwivedi from Rajasthan, Rongala Arun Siddardha and Chagari Koushal Kumar Reddy from Telangana.

Around 1.5 lakh students, who have topped the exam, are eligible for the JEE Advanced and for selection to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), sources said.
