Bangladeshi sex racket: One more arrested in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch on Wednesday arrested one more member of the Bangladeshi sex racket from the Laxmi Sagar area in Bhubaneswar.

The arrested person has been identified as Prashant Parida.

The Crime Branch STF on Tuesday arrested Bangladeshi sex racket kingpin Anjali and her husband Sk Ibrahim from Danagohiri in Pipili.

STF sources said that Prashant Parida was a close associate of Ibrahim, who used to bring Bangladeshi women to Odisha via Kolkata and engage them in the racket.

The STF had rescued six Bangladeshi women from a house in the Old Town area of Bhubaneswar.
