Bhubaneswar: A delegation of officials met today at the KIIT Campus to discuss the on-going preparations for the first-ever Khelo India University Games to be held in Bhubaneswar.
The delegation consists of top officials from Odisha Sports Department, Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).
The prestigious event, a brain-child of Union Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, will be held in KIIT, Bhubaneswar from 22 February to 1 March 2020.
The review meeting spearheaded by Sports secretary Vishal Dev emphasized on quality and smooth execution of the event with the best of facilities provided for over 5000 students who will be arriving from across India to compete in the multi-discipline sporting extravaganza.
The meeting was also attended by Sports director Vineel Krishna, and SN Meena, SAI senior director. Also, A Samanta, Y Sarangi and S Upadhyay were present.
