Pesticide Management Bill 2020 to be tabled in Parliament

New Delhi: The Union government will introduce Pesticide Management Bill 2020 in this session of Parliament.

Pesticide Management Bill 2020 will be introduced in Parliament. This Bill will protect the interests of farmers, informed Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.

The Bill was passed in the Union Cabinet on Wednesday.

The farmers will get safe and effective pesticides. They will not get spurious pesticides, the Minister said.

The Bill will also intend to promote organic pesticides.
