KALIA Yojana: Efforts on to recover money from bogus beneficiaries

Bhubaneswar: Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo on Wednesday said 45,965 ineligible beneficiaries have been identified under KALIA Yojana while 1863 have returned money so far.

The Minister informed the Assembly that efforts are underway to recover the money from remaining bogus beneficiaries under KALIA (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) scheme.

He also informed that the Odisha government has no proposal to merge its KALIA Yojana with the PM Kisan Yojana.

He said that the state government will provide a total of Rs 10,000 to eligible farmers — Rs 6000 from PM Kisan Yojana and Rs 4000 from the KALIA Yojana.
