Bhubaneswar: The students appearing annual Odisha Plus II exams 2020 from March 3 will undergo body frisking before entering inside exam centres, said a CHSE official on Saturday.
No leniency will be shown to students coming in hordes just before the exams to escape checking, said Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Chairman Amarendra Patnaik.
The body frisking of candidates will be done where no material unconnected with the examination will be allowed inside.
Apart from body frisking, they will undergo another round of checking to prevent impersonation, said the CHSE chairman.
The annual Plus II examinations 2020 will be conducted at 1143 examination centres across the state.
CCTVs have been installed at the examination centres.
While 2.20 lakh students will appear the Plus Two exam 2020 in
the Arts stream, 97,546 students in Science stream, 25785 in Commerce stream
and 7032 students in Vocational subjects.
