Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday launched Ama Ghara Mobile App.
Through the app, the beneficiaries will get details about the distribution of puca houses in the rural areas in the state.
Ama Ghara Mobile App has been developed by Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
The Chief Minister also announced that all kucha houses will be converted into pucca ones.
So far, the government has provided pucca houses to 25 Lakh families and it is targeting to distribute pucca houses to 20 lakh families in the next 4 years, said Patnaik.
The Chief Minister also announced that March 5 will be commemorated as Panchayati Raj and Lok Seva Day.
Chief secretary Asit Tripathy also addressed the function, which was attended by Assembly speaker Surya Narayan Patro, ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior officers of the state.
