Badambadi bus stand to be shifted to Khan Nagar

Cuttack: Badambadi bus stand in Odisha’s Cuttack will be shifted to Khan Nagar, informed RDC (Central) Anil Samal on Tuesday.

5T Secretary VK Pandian and some officials visited Badambadi bus terminal and nearby areas on Tuesday morning with focus on implementation of decongestion plan in the city.

5T Secretary VK Pandian and some officials also visited SCB Medical College and Hospital, Mahanadi River Banks, Maritime Museum and others.

“5T Secretary and other officials inspected Link road junction and Badambadi bus terminal. The bus hub will be shifted to a 30 acre stretch of land in Khan Nagar. They also inspected the progress of the proposed six-lane road near Taladanda canal and the modernization work of SCB Medical College and Hospital,” said Samal. He also informed that the refurbishment of Biswanath Pandit Central Library of Cuttack is also in the pipeline along with the renovation of Puri-Angul bus hub.
