KIMS COVID hospital is functional in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The KIMS COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar is functional now, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department on Monday.

So far fourteen COVID 19 positive patients have been admitted to this COVID hospital.

“KIMS COVID Hospital Bhubaneswar functional now. 14 patients admitted there. Hi Tech COVID Hospital Rourkela is also functional,” tweeted the Health department.

The state government had signed an MoU with the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) to set up a 450-bedded COVID hospital.

The Hi Tech COVID Hospital in Rourkela is also functional.

Meanwhile, Health Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal has asked Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited to supply triple-layer surgical masks for all field workers doing surveillance work, staff providing essential services, and ambulance drivers.
