Bhubaneswar: About 80 percent of COVID-19 positive cases detected in Odisha are asymptomatic, informed National Health Mission (NHM) director Salini Pandit.
She said after 12 COVID patients have been recovered from the disease, another 35 patients are likely to be recovered as they don’t have any symptoms so far.
Odisha has reported 50 positive cases so far while 37 are active cases.
NHM director said, of the 37 active COVID cases in state, 35 don’t require hospital care.
They are in hospital isolation to protect others from getting infected with the virus and to monitor their health in a better way, she added.
She said only 2 of 37 active cases need proper hospital care.
