Odisha’s COVID-19 positive cases rise to 89

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 positive cases have reached 89 after six more people have tested positive for the virus on Thursday.

Four from Jajpur district and two from Balasore district have tested positive for COVID-19, said the Information and Public Relations Department.

In Jajpur, all the four cases are relatives of earlier positive cases (West Bengal returnees). In Balasore also, they came in contact of earlier positive case.

The number of active cases now stands at 55 in Odisha. A total of 33 patients have recovered in the state. One person died of the disease.
