Lockdown: BMC allows opening of shops in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday relaxed Covid-19 lockdown conditions for the opening of shops.

However, market complexes, malls, salons, tea & coffee shops, and fast food stalls will remain closed, said BMC.

BMC after reviewing the situation has made some relaxations in lockdown conditions.

“We are consciously facilitating assisting businesses activate themselves. The fight against the pandemic is evidently long haul. Also evolving. And new and challenging for all of us. The relaxation warrants responsibility from us .We are confident of cooperation,” tweeted the chief secretary.
