Naveen talks with Tamil Nadu CM for return of Odisha people


Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday discussed with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami for the return of Odia people stranded there due to the lockdown.

The Chief Minister, in a video conferencing, requested his Tamil Nadu to ensure the safe return of Odia people.

“Whoever is willing to come to Odisha, we will coordinate their movement. Whoever wants to stay and continue their work, they may also be facilitated,” said Patnaik.

Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan joined the video-conferencing from New Delhi.
