Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday discussed with his counterparts in Karnataka B. S. Yediyurappa and Andhra Pradesh Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy for the safe return of stranded Odia migrants.
Through separate video conferencing, Patnaik interacted with the two Chief Ministers and discussed the current status of migrant labourers and modalities for the transportation of the migrants.
Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also joined them via video conference mode.
The details of the workers, their health screening and quarantine were also discussed.
The officials of the states will coordinate for the safe return of the Odia migrants.
