Odisha govt issues guidelines for inter-state lockdown pass

Bhubaneswar: In view of number of requests received from people to allow them either to go outside the state or to come to Odisha for various reasons, the state government has issued guidelines to regulate their movement in the wake of lockdown.

Individuals to move outside Odisha for medical reasons or for essential activities will be allowed by Sub-collector/Tahasildar/DCP, Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack after due examination.

In case the applicant is allowed to travel outside Odisha, a copy of the inter-state pass, so issued will be sent by e-mail to District Magistrate in the concerned state.

A form has been prescribed for the purpose which contains the information like date of Issue, name of the vehicle’s owner, mobile number, driver’s name and mobile number, registration number, type and seating capacity of the vehicle and proposed time and date of departure.
