Stringent action against quarantine violators: Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said stringent action will be taken against the persons who violate the quarantine norms.

The Chief Minister advised the Odia people returning from other States to undergo quarantine and to strictly follow all the protocols/advisory issued by the Government for the safety of themselves and their family.

In case of any violation, the Sarpanch shall bring the same it to the notice of administration, he added.

Patnaik said that Odisha is presently in a better position.

Lakhs of people are working tirelessly in this fight to contain COVID-19. Many Odias are working beyond their call of duty with dedication and sacrifice to combat this unprecedented situation, said Patnaik.

The Chief Minister has advised the people returning to Odisha to discharge their responsibility with similar dedication and sacrifice.
