Migrants should test negative before entry into Odisha: HC

Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court on Thursday directed that all migrants waiting to return to Odisha should test negative before entry into the state.

Hearing a PIL filed by petitioner Narayan Chandra Jena, the court directed that the state government should ensure that all the migrants who are in queue to come to Odisha should be tested negative of COVID-19 before boarding the conveyance.

The court directed to ensure that people who want to return to Odisha undergo RT-PCR tests first before their entry to the state.
