Bhubaneswar: 24 more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday taking the total positive cases to 270 in Odisha, said an official.
The new cases were reported from Ganjam district.
Ganjam district now tops Odisha with 71 COVID-19 positive cases.
The state government has deployed 3 IAS officers P. Anvesha Reddy, Patil Ashish Ishwar and Hema Kanta Say on Friday to Ganjam district for a period of one month to cooperate with the district administration in COVID-19 management.
Health Update
- Up to midnight of 7th May, 52,974 samples have been tested.
- Number of Positive Cases stands 270.
- 63 persons have already recovered/ discharged.
- No. of Death case 2.
- No of active cases are 205.
- 298 persons are in hospital isolation.
