Fourth COVID19 positive case in Odisha

Angul declared Red Zone after 13 COVID-19 cases


Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Angul has been categorized as Red Zone after 13 COVID-19 positive cases were reported on Sunday.

District collector Manoj Kumar Mohanty informed that Angul has been classified as Red Zone.

11 Surat returnees, one Maharashtra returnee and a local tested positive for the virus, said the health department.

While the returnees were kept at quarantine centres in the district, the district administration has initiated contact tracing after a local tested positive for coronavirus.

Odisha registered 58 positive cases on Sunday taking the tally to 352.

The state has reported its third COVID-19 death as a person from Ganjam district succumbed to the disease.
