Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will bring a new Industrial Policy 2020 in September this year, informed Industries Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra.
Joining an e-conference organized by Indian Chamber of Commerce, he said the state government is extending help to the industries for their uninterrupted functioning.
Stressing on food processing sector, Mishra said that there is huge opportunities for the food processors in Odisha and the state is looking forward to attract more food processors to the state for investment.
Industries secretary Hemant Sharma said the state government is working progressively to contain the COVID-19 pandemic by promoting and making huge changes in health infrastructure of the state.
He said the government will come up with a new Industrial Policy 2020 in September.
Sharma also invited suggestions from industry associations to formulate the IPR 2020 in an effective manner.
