Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday asked all government employees to attend office from Tuesday with strict observance of social distancing norms.
Official work in all departments and sub-ordinate offices will resume from Tuesday, said a General Administration order.
It asked the departments to advise the government employees having symptoms SARI/ILI (Severe Acute Respiratory Infection/ Influenza like Ilness) not to attend office and apply for leave, as due and admissible.
Employees residing within the containment zones shall not attend office under intimation to their controlling authority.
“The controlling officer shall enforce proper social distancing protocols. In case the same is not feasible owing to lack of office space, the department may resort to roster arrangement so that the government work does not suffer,” said the order.
