Cyclone Amphan: Gopalpur Port takes precautionary measures

Bhubaneswar: Following the formation and advancement of Super Cyclonic Storm Amphan over the Bay of Bengal, Gopalpur Port has taken several precautionary measures.

The port has cancelled inward movement of all vessels while berths have also been vacated.         

All vessels anchored are to move before the beginning of Super Cyclonic weather conditions, informed Jagdish Chandra Rout, Associate Vice President, Shapoorji Pallonji Port Division, GopalpurPort Limited.
