Bhubaneswar has zero Coronavirus active cases


Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar has become COVID-19 free as 57 patients of the state, including three from the capital city, recovered from the disease, said the health department on Monday.

Bhubaneswar had witnessed a spurt in COVID-19 positive cases in March-April. With containment measures and aggressive contact tracing, the city now has become Corona free.

Out of the 57 recovered persons, 40 are from Ganjam followed by Jagatsinghpur (5), Mayurbhanj (4), Bhubaneswar (3), Bolangir (2) and one each from Sundergarh, Balasore and Kendrapara.

With this, the number of recovered persons in the state rose to 277.
