Brown sugar worth Rs 1 crore seized in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch has seized brown sugar worth around Rs 1 crore in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

The STF also arrested two persons in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Special Task Force (STF) swung into action and seized brown sugar from Khandagiri area in Bhubaneswar and arrested two persons.

Sources said that the arrestees have been identified as the residents of Khurda area.

The Crime Branch has started interrogation of the arrested persons to find out the involvement of other persons in the illegal trade.
