Complete lockdown in Ganjam district till June 30

Bhubaneswar: The Ganjam district administration has imposed a complete lockdown in the district till June 30.

The step was taken to prevent community spread of coronavirus.

“Total lockdown be followed in Ganjam from today onwards upto 30th June. Till today there is no community spread of corona in ganjam. We have to prevent future community spread. Please cooperate. Essential services will be allowed 7am to 12 noon,” tweeted the Ganjam Collector.

Additionally, the movement of buses, cars and auto-rickshaws will be restricted. Common public without proper reason will not be allowed to come out of their homes after 12 pm.

Besides, the weekend shutdown will continue.
