COVID-19: 16-hr shutdown in Khurdha sub-division

Bhubaneswar: Khurdha sub-division will remain under shutdown between 2 pm and 6 am everyday till June 30 in view of rising COVID-19 positive cases, informed district Collector Sitanshu Rout.

Only medicine shops and petrol pumps will remain open during this period.

However, people can buy essential items from 6 AM to 2 PM daily during the shutdown.

The order will be enforced in areas including Khordha, Begunia, Bolagarh, Banapur, Tangi and Chilika, excluding BMC area, the Collector said.
