Balasore Sadar MLA Madan Mohan Dutta passes away

Bhubaneswar: BJP’s Balasore Sadar MLA Madan Mohan Dutta died of heart attack in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, family sources said. He was 62.

The legislator was he was ill for the past several months and undergoing treatment at the hospital

The first time MLA is survived by a son, a daughter and wife.

Dutta had successfully contested the 2019 Assembly polls from the constituency as a BJP candidate.

 “The untimely death of Mangu bhai (Dutta) has left me shocked. He was like a brother to me. I pray the almighty to give strength to his family to face this tragic loss. Let the soul rest in peace,” Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted.
