Jawans made supreme sacrifice protecting nation’s integrity: Odisha CM


Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday paid tributes to the Indian Army personnel who were martyred in a violent clash with Chinese troops in Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh.

The Chief Minister said the jawans have made the supreme sacrifice protecting the integrity of the nation.

 “Join the nation to salute the bravehearts of #IndianArmy who made the supreme sacrifice at #GalwanValley, protecting the integrity of our nation. Deepest condolences to the families of the brave martyrs,” Patnaik tweeted.

Two Jawans from Odisha are among the 20 Indian Army personnel who were martyred in the violent face-off with Chinese troops.

The two soldiers are Chandrakant Pradhan from Biarpanga village in Kandhamal district and Nanduram Soren of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj.
