AIIMS Bhubaneswar student tops All India AIIMS-PG Entrance Examination

Bhubaneswar: MBBS student Dr Vineetha K of AIIMS Bhubaneswar has topped the All India AIIMS-PG Entrance Examination by securing 100 per cent marks.

Results of the examination have been declared by AIIMS New Delhi on Friday.

This exam is considered as the most prestigious and sought after examination for taking admission in PG courses in various branches of Medical Science, said a statement.

Total 29 students from all AIIMS have secured their position in top 100 ranks: six students each from AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur and Rishikesh, five students from AIIMS Bhopal, four from AIIMS New Delhi and one each from AIIMS Patna and Raipur.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Director Dr Geetanjali Batmanbane has congratulated the topper and other successful students.

She also complimented all the faculty members of AIIMS Bhubaneswar for their mentoring.

“AIIMS Bhubaneswar will be one of the best academic institutes of the country in medical sciences in future,” she informed.

Total 4335 students had appeared in the entrance examination.74 students from AIIMS Bhubaneswar have secured their rank in the examination.
