COVID-19: BMC seals private hospital

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday sealed Blue Wheel Hospital in the Mancheswar area of the Odisha capital for violation of COVID-19 guidelines.

The BMC said as many as 27 positive cases were detected from the hospital.

“Blue Wheel Hospital, Mancheswar has been sealed by BMC authority today because of violation of COVID19 guidelines of Govt. As on 23/6/2020, twenty seven positive cases has been detected from this hospital.,” tweeted BMC.

 “Show cause has also been issued to the hospital,” the tweet further said.

The 27 cases detected are mostly the hospital staff and the rest all employee of the hospital has been quarantined & tested.
