Odia Samaj to organise webinar on MSME sector

New Delhi: Odia Samaj, New Delhi will organise a webinar on financial packages and opportunities for MSME in Odisha on June 27.

The webinar will be addressed by Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Union Financial Services secretary Debasish Panda, former MSME secretary Arun Kumar Panda, Odisha MSME secretary Hemant Sharma, IDCO chairman Sanjay Singh, and former MD of United Bank of India (UBI) Ashok Pradhan will also address the webinar.

The deadline for registration is 26th June (Friday), 12.00 noon. Interested participants can send their name, contact details, organization name, and questions to odiasamajdelhi@gmail.com, said a statement.

It may be noted here that Micro Small And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) form a very crucial part of the announcements made under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ by Government of India.

The Central Government has announced Rs 3 lakh crore financial package for the MSMEs and the move will benefit about 45 lakh MSMEs across the country amid the distressing circumstances due to coronavirus pandemic.

In this context, it has become a necessity to focus and find out opportunities for MSME in Odisha as well.

Thus, the webinar aims to empower the concerned stakeholders in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, the statement said.
