3-day shutdown in several parts of Gajapati district

Bhubaneswar: Gajapati district administration on Friday declared a 3-day shutdown in several parts of the district in view of the rising Covid-19 cases.

Gosani, Gumma block, Parlakhemundi town and Ranipentho Gram Panchayat of Kashinagar Block will remain shut down for 3 days, starting from June 28 to June 30.

Gajapati district collector informed about the shutdown on the official twitter handle.

Gosani&Gumma block, PKD town and Ranipentho GP of Kashinagar Block to be shut down for 3 days( 28-30.06.2020).Medical Emergency and milk shall be allowed… 40 number of Medical teams will do screening for symptoms… We request everyone to co-operate…@CMO_Odisha @HFWOdisha

Only medical emergency and milk services shall be allowed during the Gajapati shutdown.

The district administration had formed 40 medical teams to carry out door-to-door screening for coronavirus symptoms.
