Shutdown in Cuttack city till July 8 midnight

Cuttack: Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday declared shutdown in the entire city till July 8 midnight to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

As per a notification issued by CMC, the shutdown will remain in force in its jurisdiction till July 8 midnight.

All the non-essential shops will remain closed and non-essential travel will be completely prohibited, said an official.

However, all the essential shops like grocery, vegetable and milk shops will remain open from 5 AM to 6 PM with proper maintance of social distancing and wearing of masks.

Online delivery of essential items is allowed in the city.
