Bhubaneswar: School and Mass Education Minister Samir Dash on Friday said it is not possible to predict Plus Two result declaration date as the evaluation process has hampered due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation.
There are 35 major evaluation centres in 4 districts and Rourkela city where the government has imposed 14-day lockdown in the wake of rising COVID cases.
“Due to restrictions, evaluation may be hampered so it is not possible to predict result declaration date,” said Dash.
He said District Collectors will take necessary steps after considering the situation.
Earlier, School and Mass Education Principal Secretary Chithra Arumugam requested District Collectors, SPs and Deputy Commissioner Police (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack) to allow movement of persons associated with the Plus II evaluation process to and from the evaluation zones.
The evaluation of answer scripts of Plus II examination began from June 1. But it was affected due to the weekly shutdown announced by district administrations and local authorities.
