Bhubaneswar reports another 87 Covid cases

Bhubaneswar: As many as 87 Covid-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar in last 24 hours, informed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday.

Out of the total cases, 41 cases were reported from quarantine centres and 46 are local contacts.

“Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance,” said the BMC.

With this, the total positive cases have reached to 1130 in Bhubaneswar area.

The active cases stand at 621 and the recoveries at 494. 11 persons have died of the disease so far.
