Independence Day 2020 to be a low key affair in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The celebration of Independence Day 2020 will be a low key affair in view of the prevailing Covid-19 situation in Odisha.

It was decided at the preparatory meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy at Lokseba Bhawan on Wednesday.

It is decided to observe the programme on 15th August at the Exhibition Ground, Unit-III with the presence of limited people and Covid warriors, strictly adhering to the Covid protocols.

State honour shall be offered by the police personnel.
