Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday inaugurated Plasma therapy facilities at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur and VIMSAR, Burla in Sambalpur for the treatment of serious COVID-19 patients.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the plasma banks through video conferencing.
He said that the facilities will help immensely to the critical Coronavirus patients of Southern and Western Odisha.
The Chief Minister also appealed all the eligible Coronavirus recovered people to donate plasma so that other critical patients can be treated.
The number of Plasma facilities has gone up to five after Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.
