Nine more die due to Covid-19 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Nine more patients have succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha taking the total toll in the state to 225, informed the Health Department on Wednesday.

While five of the deceased are from Ganjam, one each is from Gajapati, Keonjhar, Khurda and Sundargarh.

Odisha reported as many as 1337 new Covid positive cases in last 24 hours taking that total positive number to 39,018.

Out of the fresh cases, 815 were reported from quarantines and 522 are local contacts.
