Odisha’s Covid cases cross 45,000 mark

Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha mounted to 45,927 as 1734 more persons tested positive for the virus, informed the health department on Sunday.

Out of the fresh cases, 1075 were detected in quarantine while 659 are local contact cases.

Khordha district reported the highest 342 positive cases.

With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 15365.

As many as 30241 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
